Village Reef 18m - 25m
Village Reef is 20-minute boat trip east of the Resort. This is usually a drift dive starting off on a wall that dips away to 25-30m. After 20 minutes along the wall you encounter a flattish area with prolific reef structures. This area has sponges, Verrucose and Humble coral everywhere. For those with a keen eye the Golden Cowrie shell has been found along this stretch of reef. Schools of barracuda and big eye trevally are usually present. Tall fin batfish and emperor angelfish are found here also. This is an excellent dive for experienced divers and photography.

 
 


Barracuda Drift
A steeply sloping reef where large Gorgonian Fans are found at 20 metres. Sharks and walu (Spanish Mackerel) are also often seen along the wall. A huge school of barracuda usually keep you company during your safety stop at the end of the dive. Good dive for the novice and the experienced (15 minutes from the jetty).

 
   
 


The Pinnacles
Situated 100 metres off the end of Golden Reef. A deep dive for experienced divers. Schools of barracuda and other pelagics can be found here among the beautiful Sea Fan coral. Sharks and tuna are often seen here (14 minutes from the jetty).

 
 


Golden Reef
Home of the valuable Golden Cowrie. An easy dive for the novice. A beautiful hard coral site (10 minutes from the jetty).

 
 


Scotts Reef10m - 25m
Scotts Reef is 10-15mins from the Resort and has similar bottom topography to that of The Aisles. This is a good site for training divers with a rip current running along part of the reef. The rip area is usually home to large schools of squirrelfish and goatfish. A flattish area near the rip has Verrucose, Humble and Plate corals. Unicorn and parrotfish abound. A nurse shark has been sighted on many occasions in the narrow passage.

 
 


The 'Aisle' 10m-20m
The Aisles is 8 minutes from the jetty. Narrow gutters start from the shallows end with a roundish reef formation toward the deeper end. This is a hard coral site with Verrucose, Humble and Plate coral everywhere along with sponges. This site is usually home to turtles that live along the wall with the odd Walu (Spanish Mackerel). This is a good site for DSDs and certifications.

 
 


The Wall (Turtle Wall)
Located on the western entrance to Yanuca Island and totally different to the eastern side. Features mushroom corals, turtles and a very good chance of an encounter with nurse sharks. An interesting cave is at the end of the dive. (Torches are helpful). Good dive for novices (3 minutes from the jetty).

 
 


Lion Fish Reef
Situated at the eastern entrance to Yanuca Harbour, divers drift along a 70 foot wall until the harbour shallows out. Many caverns and schools of Unicorn Surgeon fish and home for at least 6 different species of Lion fish. Good beginner dive spot before making the transition to the outer reef.

 
   
 


The Wall (Cave)
Located on the western entrance to Yanuca Island and totally different to the eastern side. Features mushroom corals, turtles and a very good chance of an encounter with nurse sharks. An interesting cave is at the end of the dive. (Torches are helpful). Good dive for novices (2 minutes from the jetty).

 
 


Sandpatch
Sandpatch is the amphitheatre site of our fish feeding activity.
Well-mannered schools of fish take turns to feed from the smaller tropical varieties to large bass and mangrove jack before the black and white tip reef sharks finish off the left overs. See a tug-of-war with a moray eel. This is a must do dive and bring your camera.

 
 


Nabaibai Passage
Situated behind Kaba Island on the western side of Yanuca Bay. Divers drift along a wall, ridged with openings and swim throughs, towards the passage entrance. Features an abundance of white tip reef sharks, mangrove jack and leopard rays. Excellent dive for the experienced. This dive is only available during certain tide and weather conditions (8 minutes away).

 
 


Nadiri Passage 10m - 20m
Naidiri Passage is 20 -25 minutes west of the Resort. This site has an interesting narrow passage and a sandy bottom. A drift dive seaward with prolific large coral formations along the wall with cavities and swim throughs everywhere. White and black tip reef sharks, mangrove jack, sweetlip and unicorn fish are to be found here along with the odd eagle ray. Visibility varies with tidal change and it is best to dive at high tide. An underwater torch is recommended for exploring cavities and swim throughs along the wall. A good site for experienced divers.

 
   
 


Natadola Passage 15m - 25m
Natadola is 40 minutes from the Resort and boasts one of the best beaches in Fiji. An interesting wall dive with cavities and swim throughs. Toward the end of the dive Gorgonian Fan corals cling to a beautiful overhang and is home to a nurse shark. The bottom is sandy with coral heads everywhere. Bland and white reef sharks frequent the bottom and stingrays are often seen here also. This is a good site for the experienced diver and photographic enthusiasts.
